Not sure u are referring USD or SGD but any online booking site should reveal many listings even at the lower SGD rate.
Makati has many affordable hotels and as visitation remains low, rates are good. I stayed for only about 75USD nite in a 4* hotel with large balcon suite.

Btw try to stay near what you gonna do as traffic in Manila is a killer, take over 3 hours sometimes, same distance just 15 minutes other times

Thanks for tips, was referring to SGD. Did look around the usual sites, just spoilt for choices, best if got people tried and tested.

My bad on balloons, should have explained - it is nitrous oxide/laughing gas.
