This Kota Indah Jayakarta bar street has been patronised by many PRC cheongster until this street became well known as 酒吧街. Below are some comments shared online by the PRC:

1) MTR bar has cewek seated on 4 rows of seats. The first two rows can be view clearly consist of 8 to 10 cewek. The third row and fourth row cewek cannot be seen clearly due to the layout design.

2) Star moon bar has improved on their lighting, when go inside, one look can see all the cewek clearly. Disadvantage is that the cewek are mostly older and less in number.

3) Mega Ayu bar has 10 over cewek and the room for ST is upstairs and has bed which is bigger and is brightly lighted.

4) Mega Ayu and New Sari Ayu is under the same organization

5) New Sari Ayu has the most number of cewek between 50-60.

As with regards to safety, a common advice is not to expose any valuables like rolex watch, jewellery, etc. Wear simple and yes speak bahasa politely to the people there do help to be safe.

Below are some plus points that attracted people visting the Kota Indah bars:

1) Offers 2+1 package that cost only 800k = S$63 for 3 hours. (compare to LT 2 juta = S$157)

2) There is no entrance fee like classic, travel, malioboro or 1001 pool

3) There is no room fee for ST as room is included in the price

4) There is no service charge too

5) The bars have many part timers, sometime lucky can find gems there.

If decided to cheong the bars, can actually stay one night at the following hotel near the bars within walking distance:

1) Manggis Inn (2 stars) about S$11 per nite - about 200m away

2) Hotel 55 international near Jayakarta station

3) Hotel Royal VIP (nearest hotel to the bar)

This will in turn helps to save traveling time, save transport cost and save effort

Probably one of them is New Sari Ayu Bar since it has 2 outlets and has the most number of cewek.

Thanks for the points..In fact I have never cheong in Jakarta before and those information which was posted is actually obtained online.

Regarding Jakarta KTV updates, I do not have much information. In fact be it a KTV, a bar or a massage joint, the final objective is to short time with the cewek. That's why we have some short time booking joint call Bar & KTV or Bar & Massage.

I am actually planning to explore central Jakarta in September as that is the area where there are many massage joints and nightlife. In fact comparing to other cities, Jakarta is a city which are very cost effective 性价比, get the most value for the money spent.

However, when I went to the booking joint in Batam, if I chose a LT cewek for a short time service, I only need to pay half of the price of the long time. Example 500k for short time and 1 juta for long time.

But in many online review, on the other hand, LT in Jakarta on average is like 5 to 7 times the cost of ST that makes LT expensive and not worth.

With the same amount of money spent, would rather go for 5 to 7 times ST than to take up one LT overnight.

2) Area is dark and remote, risk of robbery.

3) The condition of the room was frightening.

family finding out their son/dad got killed in some slum brothel area in a robbery gone wrong or hit by a train!!!
