Questiom about Wechat

I installed wechat on my phone, not alloed it to access my contacts but on Look Around feature. I registered using my phone number via SMS. I installed it at work and removed it before going back home.

My question is, I got a few colleagues who are also using wechat. And they have my number in their contacts. Are they able to see that I am on wechat and the profile that I set?

I do not want them to see, any way to do it?

you could use unsearchable by mobile, or block them straight after adding them and they won't see you again.
