I think when you are at my age or rather your age.....we need to consider a few more things like marriage and happily ever after. Sigh.

Here is a few issues on hand, I forsee going to happen.

1. You said you are older than her father by a year. If everything goes well, you are supporting not just her, but her father (who happens to be a year older than you) and family.

2. I can also see it being financially draining. But let's put finances aside for a minute. Do you forsee it being fair to her to have to care for 3 elderly (you, the husband, her father and even her mother) when you reach 60 or 65 or any other age for that matter? It will be super tiring for her also.

P.S. Here is some food for thought though. Women tend to live longer than men. So basically, if you pass away, you are basically going to have to live with that fact that she would marry someone else after you pass away. Selfish yes, on your part. But then who isn't?

Hmmm. Does that sound crap to you?

P.S.S. I do not know about you, but I am ALREADY having trouble relating to people who are about 12-15 years or so my junior. If you are old enough to be her father, the gap is going to be even harder for you.

Imagine the scenerio.. in 15-20 years time , you are much older and maybe more white hair . and your wife ( this PRC gal) is walking beside u and some one comes up to u and ask u - " is this your daughter or grand- daughter?"
How do you feel?

Another scenerio .. in 10s years time , maybe your sex drive not so active compared to your younger wife , and normally woman if in the 30s , its their sexually prime time , and they are very active , and if you cannot cope with them , how would u feel and how would they feel? What do you think the chance of them having an affair or ONS ??

If in terms of age group or difference, its best to have woman / companion around 5 to 10 years difference is enough. In terms of compatibility and thinking , closer to each other.

agree on the fairness and selfish part
in any case, the r/s is on the rock regardless of age issue

anyway, i know another PRC girl who is dis girl senior by 3 years who r willing to marry me and she own house and shop for the matter...

it jus that the feeling for the latter is not as right as the former....
