2. get medicine to help heal your sores faster
3. know the ways to prevent outbreaks
4. reduce the chance of spreading the virus to your partner by
- avoid kissing if you have a cold sore.
- use condoms and dental dams for all kind of sex
- avoid sex activities during outbreak, pre outbreak and shedding period.
5. as i have said, it is pretty common to have the herpes virus, so let your partner know you have the virus and work together to prevent the spreading.
