I recommend you stay in one of the hotels between Nana BTS and Asoke BTS. Whether 3-star or 5-star it is up to your budget. If you stay along this stretch you can visit Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy for their gogo bars. The BTS train and MRT train (near Asoke BTS) is convenient to travel around Bangkok.
