I also had an FL, after a bit of chit chatting, poured her story to me. One thing she kept repeating was she wants to do “noble” work. Which I assumed she meant respectable work and don’t consider this trade a respectable one but she does this cos all her other endeavours failed (she said she tried starting a business) or yielded too little money. She didn’t like what she was doing but at least she puts up a smile and put some effort into it. Of course I didn’t meet her to save her or anything, I just wanted to bonk lol but at the very least I should treat her as another person going through life
