i have a few bruneian chinese friends who have lived in singapore for a few years. they look, speak, and act like singaporeans. in fact, if they din't tell you, you probably wouldn't even know. for cases like these, it doesn't really matter much imo, but every man to his own opinion.

you should be a little more cautious about revealing that fact. the bruneian chinese community in singapore is really really small, and everyone knows everyone else.
