further to add, if the couple is indeed 10yrs or more apart, if both parties are of legal age ie: above 18 or 21yrs of age, sex with mutual consent shouldnt be a problem right?

I wouldn't be too worried about this....... if you had been observant enough..... many of the bars have this notice about Regulation 7610 pasted on their boards since many years ago..... and business was as usual for them.
I believe the current crackdown will quieten down in due course and the situation be back to normal as per before.
