Yes, and the society is paying the price for it now...ie, dwindling marriage and birth rates, high divorce rates.
From observation, it seems the lower educated women have happier families, divorce rates are higher with better educated women.
Women are conflicting creatures by nature, let them have too much power, let them take the lead, it doesn't take a very intelligent person to know the risks.
