The girl in HC asked for RMB 2000! She must have sensed that you were a foreigner. You were right to ignore her. The attitude of people in China is largely different and we cannot expect to be the same as us. Take queuing for example, have you tried queuing to buy something? You might be wondering why you are always the same distance from the counter.
