Don't quite agree with this. I always get pulled into the bar. Then the staff inside ignore me totally. After I look left, look right for the next 2 minutes, a waitress will reluctantly come and ask me..."What's your drink?"...After my drink comes I am ignored again. This happens to me in every Fields bar and Perimeter too
Sometimes I try to make eye contact with the girls, they ignore me too. Rather than making eye contact with me most are content seeing themselves dance in the mirror reflection. I signal to the waitress that I want to sit with xyz girl. I am told she's having the time of the month
After that instead of giving me suggestions for alternative etc the waitress goes back to her corner seat again
Several times I notice that I am being ignored quite badly , yet I stick around persistently and try to slowly finish my SM Lite. Suddenly an Ang Moh guy walks in and like two or three waitresses start to loiter and hang around me asking me where I am from, do I want to choose any girl from the stage etc. Later I see that the AngMoh instead of sitting on the customer stools goes to the bar counter & realize he's not a customer but actually the boss of the place. Then it occurs to me that the waitresses were ignoring me all this while but when they saw the boss walk in I suddenly get a lot of attention
So this reverse psychology theory is not always valid ...
