Some news update.

The demo started becos the Jakarta side demostrators got what they want, increase in pay.

The Batam workers( monkey see monkey do) also want to get pay rise too, and go on strike as well.

On the other hand, I have to admit that the cost of living is getting rather high becos of inflation. Many people are finding it hard to make ends meet.

Demo with riots? That will chase investors away. So far, situation is rather tense. WIll update.

Same advise for all brothers, DO NOT GO BATAM UNLESS NECESSARY. Cheonging places may not be safe as there are opportunity seekers who will make use of situation to rob, steal, etc.....

I am out liao, and wont be back until my guys tell me it is safe to be back in factory.
