bro Valentino_t77, S$100 for 1 day is way too much liao lah!! unless u stay at turi beach resort but go to tanjung unjang for bonking at the sintai lokalisasi then go all the way south to barelang bridge sightseeing etc

my 1st few trips always book taxi whole day. the sopir always say "up to u" when i wanna pay them. i gave them 200k-300k they always accept. besides touring the joints i only go for clean massage eg IndoThai, or go bookshop buy map or dictionary. what's more go seafood dinner with the cewek i also treat the driver wor.

my last few trips took taxi n ojek, but not sure of the rates n distance. too bad google maps no use in batam, roads n building names not shown, unlike singapore all labelled nicely. must buy latest maps from gramedia or karisma bookshop, which are not really that updated either... lol

so gotta rely on advice from batam old birds for approx market rate of public transport lor... at least bangkok there now can ask the driver to use meter, but seems like batam there is all 霸王车 one...
