thks for the kueh lapis info on top of the recommendation for ojek rates, bro!
do they call our so-called "thousand-layer" kueh lapis by some other name?
seems to me like it can mean the 9-layer rice cake type to them too.
wonder if ah hia n other senior batam cheongsters can advise on where to get local produce like kueh lapis too?

bro, sorry, my previous posting just based on my speculation, nothing else. Do believe your judgement on gals....

however i don't have much time in batam, cannot help to verify these gals...
9-layer cake back home doesn't have 9 layers too. therefore their 9-layer cake = thousand layer kueh lapis....can try bika ambon next time (last only 3 days at most)

bro, this kind of incident does happen now and then. however, here is different, most of these robber will get whacked, and sometimes dead whacked by local and policemen normally would not take any legal action. in certain way, it does help to control the rate.

well, this is indoland, ruled by Pak P.
