Bro hoosdathu, if u use starhub for data access in batam u will need to pay i ard SGD5 for each Md. Unless u uses the starhub preferred batam network, e.g. indosat, u only need to pay at a cap at SGD15 per day for unlimited data access.

Bro, they do have prepaid card with 3G network access but usually its not unlimited and the charges quite high e.g. rd few hundred for every kb of data received. not too sure if they have prepaid for unlimited access. But they do have monthly unlimited data access by telkomsel at only 110k now. great deal for mthly!
and also i don think google maps supports graphical maps for batam besides satellite images i with no routing capabilities. tried in batam via my iphone liao totally no use de. so if u wanna access SBF on e go can always get a 3g pre paid card la. not much data transfer anyway. just tell em u wanna get a 3G prepaid card or ask em to activate the 3G for u when u make ur purchase
