The DJ was a lady at pacific and she play the same trance track over and over again. My friend went to the DJ and told her to play some hip hop, she was a bit scared at first and after 2 songs, she dedicated a hip hop song to us, guys from sg. 
Anyways it was an ok experience for me at batam, Probably will go there during xmas holidays.

The disco in Batam are tripping clubs, meaning for people to pop pills and shake heads. And the music for them to do that are the trance and house music, suddenly you asked DJ to play hip-hop of cause she was scared lah, and lucky too that you and your friends didn't get whacked by those shake head kakis for disturbing their peace! hahaha.....
