I been to batam two times before, but many many years ago.

Last time I was able to dabao girl back to hotel overnight at those joint, about 1.2M

How things work nowadays ? I just need a refresher that's all.

I tried to read the threads, looks like hallo kitty, octopus are popular place to go, but I not sure whether is short time or long time.
