Depends how "desperate" you are on that day and what time you are booking for
If I'd need a release, then I'll text a couple ML that I want to try and also have another list of not-as-popular-but-I-like MLs or go for Spa based ML where you can just call in to do booking.
After waiting some time, I will just book with my regular ML. If gotten ignored, then will try a few more times or move on.
