When you look at the demographics it makes sense.
It seems most are nostalgia chasers..living in the past but a bit dead in the present like zombies.
There's other crumbling derelict places along perimeter where you will see the same ancient seniors at all the time all day long. I have nothing against these pensioner types but i'd say the majority of them seem genuinely unhappy and cynical. I have talked to a few and they always seem mostly negative if not unpleasant.
It's like the best years were the ones whoring as a younger man. It is sad.
It is why I feel it's sad to watch men bring their aging wives to red light areas to "see" or maybe experience the life they once had.
It is more of a reflection of their own mortality.
They are trying to grasp those last few moments of pleasure and glory.
