So is it the managers' fault or the fault of the owners?

Dun give excuses..... Klopp has the time to change his players, his team... Give up on Keita, using that money, i am sure Liverpool can get 1 or 2 DFs. Unless u meant FSG loves only Keita, he has the quality of Messi, transforming Liverpool into elite title challenger.

Man City last season conceded goals easily n this season, Pep bought a few DFs. Man Utd bought Lukaku to boast their scoring, even Arsenal bought players to strengthen the team.

Liverpool defence is well known to be crap n Klopp 1 Scottish and concentrated in attack. Worst, bought a player 1 season ahead and now Keita is performing badly, maybe an excuse is he is not interested to play for current team. Moreno whom was a sub for whole of last season is Klopp favorite LB.

Liverpool gone 7 games without a win... while the other challengers for top 4 are starting to win games. Again a lame excuse, the season has just started only.
