they wont know the diff of how well you can treat a gf or as a girlfriend , its a very diff thing . they will never know unless they start a relationship with you . and i believe you treat all ur exes differently ( diff love level ) due to the way they treat you . its all up to yourself , never allow how others portraits you by the way they look or say about you . girls tend to follow their feelings from their heart , let's say im a girl and i treasure our friendship . i do like you but i dont know if you like me , what if i let you know my feelings but end up you dont like me and we cant be friends anymore ? alot of things to see from my PoV , just my sexperience
