At this point, I am unable to accuse Mey.
Still considered as a suspect for your stolen money.

To date,i still don't count myself as 'very experience',there are lots of things that I do not know about Batam yet. Am still in the learning process.

But I confirm, they were on something as their face expression and speech do not resemble as of a normal person.
I often try my best to stand in another person's shoe to face the ordeal he had face before and then try to rectify the problem to see if I could find a solution. What if it one day happens to me? Believe me,i would be at a lost if I am in your shoe and I believe 80% of us reading this thread would too. More importantly, we learned from your experience so as not to make your mistake/s. And what I will do was not to give myself a chance to even come close to making those mistakes i see others made.

Thank you for helping me to understand the situation better.

I believe those who has the capability to work and yet willing to work should not go hungry hence i dont give to beggars but will give more to those who try to sells me something in the street.

Just hope their authority wont go around using that as an excuse to extort tourists.

The targeted places by terrorist were usually ALSO carrot chopping places (at least to me ,it seems so). If you are the terrorist, where will your likely target be?

1. Harbour Bay Ferry terminal?

2. Nagoya City Walk Mall/DC Mall/Panbil Mall/Kepril Mall?

3. Booking joint?

4. Hotels in Batam not so much frequent by Sillyporean?

5. Lower and mid-end massage places?

6. Ibu Joko,Hai Ou,New Siang Malam,Acia Ikan Bakar food court behind Prima Asia Hotel?

Or will it be...???

1. Batam Center Ferry Terminal?

2. Nagoya Hill Mall/BCS mall?

3. Nagoya Entertainment District aka NED

4. 4 star luxury hotels?

5. Major massage places or places of interest that are more commonly found online?

6. Windsor Food court or the like?

It really depends on how intelligent they are. And i believe they are not exactly all stupid. Its like the movie Independence Day...the alien who attack earth, they like to get take landmark 1st where most people will go. Where's Batam's famous landmark? You name it but i doubt you will see me there much.

Honest opinion,i fear those wearing uniform at the custom and on the road driving more than the terrorist. (it does not mean i dont fear terrorists)

Again,play safe, my priority.
