Most higher end Spa like Delta,Octopus,Altalanta etc will still be open. Other massage shop might open later (around or after 7pm when they break fast) or not open at all. Hard to really gauge the timing now. What i heard from friends is that the Police are coming down at joints,KTVs, Disco,Pubs, MPs much harder than the previous 2 years. Dont know how true is that...but this month of Ramadan,i would likely not be in Batam (was already there last year). If you really die die need to go,better not talk loudly in public places,anyhow throw cigarette butts (or litter) and dont bring girl/s out to the public places.Be humble and polite. The police are at their hungriest,"religious gangsters" at their "most religious"...lol.(religious gangsters here refer to people who use the name of their religion to disrupt the social order of a civilise society) More taxi drivers and beggars around (be wary of pickpocket too). Be expected to see most shops closed like you are in Sillypore during CNY.
