SINGAPORE: Turbulence on a Singapore Airlines flight (SIA) between Osaka and Singapore on Tuesday morning (Dec 23) left 14 passengers and crew members injured.

Thirteen of them received outpatient treatment at Terminal Two’s clinic while one was referred to the hospital for further assessment due to a previous neck injury.

The captain of the flight reported the turbulence an hour before landing in Singapore on Tuesday morning.

An SIA spokesman said medical personnel and staff were on standby to assist the injured. Buggies, wheelchairs and refreshments were also made ready for its passengers.

Investigations are still ongoing.
