Note that its cheaper than the Green jungle fowl, which is beautiful
1st of all,thank you for the link,bro.

Their History :

I dont plan to buy them and/or bring to Sillypore, its too much hassle with the AVA and the HSA. But it's definitely worth just having a look at the real thing, tho not in Batam.

The green jungle fowl looks ordinary to me...sorry,i am not a bird fan.But the
Cemani Chickens does leave an impression when i read about it months ago. Anyway, how often does one see a total pitch black chicken and in Indonesia?

Their egg cost US$25 !!!! And minimum order is 1 dozen...lol. Thats not counting the US$120 shipping charges. *faint*

Below are some write out from the link you gave me regarding its legend :

Legend says :

And the mystery behind them :

What actually impress me most from the read up is a pure breed Ayam Cemani's blood is in BLACK.

I have been reading the link provided by you since yesterday. Thank you bro for sharing the information that helps me learn much. Beside the World most expensive (actually its 2nd most now) Luwak Coffee,Indonesia have one of the rarest Ayam Cemani chicken too. I believe its most expensive too cos the highest i seen it sold at US$475 000 and the buyer arent really buying the chicken but more for the chicken's black blood. Impressive!

Thank you bro.
