Got a taksi right outside M-one and proceeded to 'hunt' for cewek booking at 1am. Went to close to 10 places - i believe all these places were where 'anak kost' pay rent and live at. Think these are the places where working ceweks are housed at. So we had to climb many many stairs most of which are 3 storeys high. I was a bit shocked at their living conditions. Bowls of noodles plates of rice just placed outside along the walkways. Conditions of these buildings were very poor and dilapidated. Can match the worse of the worst of conditions in Geylang houses such as those found in lorong 24. Felt a bit sad for them. So we went to room after room after room. Really couldn't find any girl and was thinking that we might end up sleeping alone tonight. Apparently most of the booking places such as berlian, dynasty, goldbird, permata etc have closed already. So this was the next best option. Really cant remember the names of the places we visited but I overheard it was Morena something.. there are 3 of these Morena places and one of them was located at Kampong Bule (Ang Moh Village), then there's Ah Tin?.. I'm not very sure. In the end got 1 SYT and my buddy got a cewek who was tall and not bad looking too.
Reached back hotel and had to pay supir 200k. Initially he told us that we could pay him whatever we wanted before getting in the taksi as he could make it through the commission later. Wanted to pay him 50k, but he declined and said we were turning and turning and turning. In fairness, we took over an hour to choose our ceweks
We were pretty drained already and so was he.

Well i can say that this recent trip was satisfying enough as i manage to squeeze in some variety to entertain me and my buddy instead of the usual booking and staying inside hotel the whole trip. Next day was just rest and relax a lot of eating smoking and AAR. I think is best not to go Batam in a big big group - will attract a lot of attention as there are taksi drivers everywhere clapping their hands at you to try and earn some off you. We changed around $300 but still had balance of around 200-300k each. Splurged a bit on food on the 2nd day if not could have even more balance.
