Actually there are some truth about what u written bro but for me I'll prefer spending that $300 in batam then in local Viet KTV. Reasons are simple: for about $100 - $150 ST with Viet mm, I can use that amount of money in Batam to find a suitable cewek to keep me accompany till next day. Total hrs about 20 as compare to Viet girl. Also there are lots of farms or places for u to hunt ur desired girl that u fancy so which is more worthwhile?
Another point to note is whether in local Viet KTV or in Batam, amount of money spent on girls is one thing, whether u will have a good time with her is another thing. Both places I tried and results really differ when the least I expected. All things said, it really boils down on ur luck in choosing the gal.
