It looks like Songkran will be longer then expected this year. How does this affect monger during this time of the year?

While i don't have direct knowledge, I was advised best to avoid it if possible. Places will still be open , you will still have choices and options, but some girls will go back to village for a period and selection limited. I don't think it will be as bad as say CNY in China where everything is closed and not all girls/ppl return.

Also you will get mercilessly splashed and wet everywhere you walk. Daytime and possibly night time your clothes will cling like a wet blanket. This I do know from experience.

went there twice. no likey. everything became super expensive. if you're into clubbing you have to buy their package only then you'll get a table. if you're into gentleman club also very expensive.

you might get drenched while walking out to enjoy the nightscene, yes you can go back and change but if your shoes are wet you're done

supply of girls also lesser.

most girls will be out of town
either they go overseas for holiday as most thais do
or go back to hometown to visit family

thats why you will see no traffic jams in bkk during this period (except outside big party venues)

Yes, most lady will be back in hometown.
BKK will be flooded by Ang mo, china, Korean, African and Japanese.

Traffic will be jam and messy too

Not sure about the other places but for the high-end soapies, I was told that the girls there are getting paid extra to work during Songkran. Hopefully that helps with the girl supply situation.

Girls paid extra to incentivise them to work otherwise they go hometown.
Generally means everything more expensive - particularly lady drinks, bar fines & massages.

Will be going BKK after songkran. Want to ask, how much does it cost to have a lady accompany you for half day or full day? Had gotten to know one and she said was willing to bring me around. May have extra service included as well.:D
