Having an AV film doesn't mean much - what AV production agency were her films produced by? What are her Fanza rankings for each film? What was her career high Fanza ranking? Was she already a famous gravure model, idol or fashion model before crossing over to JAV? etc. At the top end - thousands of girls apply and interview for the top AV production agencies every year. S1 No.1 Style only selects 1 to debut every month. They can't be compared with women at the lower end whose films are produced by small agencies which can be poorly made and have low sales. Also, quality over quantity. A JAV actress from S1 with only 30 films but all widely popular and ranked within the top 50 of Fanza's rankings is definitely valued way more than a JAV actress with 150 films from a small unknown production agency and films did not generate much sales.

Thirdly, the same JAV actress would have a different price between each agent, shop, or freelance that she takes a job from. She would also have very widely different prices in each country/region that she works in - Japan, Taiwan, HK, Singapore, Australia and many other places. The people involved, the business model and many other factors come into play.

Fourth, the lady is a human being. Not a pokemon card. Even with all the market knowledge in the JAV industry and price data across all the cities that JAV actresses work in - one would still find that the popularity/price does not have that strong a correlation.

If a lady has good financial management, she can request a high wage for herself and only accept 1 customer per month in Tokyo. If a lady has a Pachinko addiction or host she wants to support, she might be all over the world accepting much lower wages.

Ultimately, each customer should decide for themselves what they are willing to pay or walk away from. I have seen JAV actresses in SG priced at $800 whom I think are overpriced, but I also have seen JAV actresses in SG priced at $2500 whom I think are underpriced.

But as I mentioned early on, I am by no means an expert. These are just my $0.02. Cheers.

Generally these girls raise their own profile through exposure in JAV and can command a premium in the shops they work in. Haven't visited any establishments in Japan before but from visiting some of the sites, JAV girls are usually priced at a different tier.
