Cost:
2 buckets 6 bottles 300rm, small room fee 100, mummy tip 50, girl tip 150 for 2 hours (and jus 200 for girl)
Mummy is useless. Asked for playability she pretend she don't understand and told me choose myself. Chose a Viet girl that only plays dice with zero playability. I spent an hour with her hoping that things will improve but it didn't and when I highlighted to the mummy (I had to go downstairs to look for her ) she said I chose her myself and still had the cheek to demand her tip. I asked her what service did she provide she said that it is my problem I didn't look for her to feedback. I was like wtf you only appeared at the start and said you don't know anything. I was so pissed in started leaving and the mummy started apologizing and say don't angry don't angry.
At that price and lack of service I rather pay a bit more and go happy hour at a sg ktv.

Bros can vote with our wallets and not go anymore. Anybody who "has" to go (business, prior arrangements, etc...) can always politely tell mummy about this and that as a group, we're going elsewhere. If a few different people tell them, they might get the message. Just remember to be polite. Getting pissy or arrogant won't win you anything and might get you in trouble.

That’s right, I have visited a few super excellent KTVs, but for high end ones, it’s quite pricey, but excellent quality. 4 of us spent 12k all inclusive, if we wanted to go all the way, would have been close to 20k. Incredible quality though

Mostly due to cost and convenience. Location makes a difference for many bros that are in town for work/business. Going far from the golden triangle area is not just inconvenient, it's unknown area for some of us. So while I agree with you we should let the bad places know it is not acceptable, at least some of us need help with where else to go that is closeby and isn't crazy expensive.

I’ve been to Mexico a few times over the last 1.5 years or so, selection was pretty bad but there are a few pretty ones and some with playability. Mama was good at guiding who to choose, but I stopped going because every time she saw me she increased the price. Was a decent and convenient option, but even if the money is relatively small I refuse to be ripped off.

Beer prices in Cheras/Pudu (KL) area
1 bucket (5 bottles) ~ RM110 to RM120, no such thing as cover charges
Small Room KTV ~ RM800 5 buckets and the room (3 to 6 pax)
Medium Room KTV ~ RM1200 8 buckets and the room (4 to 9 pax)
Big Room ~ RM1700 to RM2200 , you get the idea how the beer and room sizes

Girls
China/viet ~ RM130 butterfly for 3 hrs, RM550 to 600 for 3 hrs , overnight is based on your own skills, but need some connection to the Managers/Mummy there to deal with it
